Tremenheere Gallery

Recently I went to the Tremenheere Gallery. These are some of my favourite pieces of work I saw.

I really liked how the artists are very experimental, for example many of the paintings have many layers. I also like how they have used the reactions paints have with one another in order to create intriguing effects.

These also interested me. They are screen prints. This surprised me as I thought they were done using a reaction. I want to look at how I can recreate this in my work for my pattern crazy project.

These images below inspire me. I like how they have used the same house shape on top however changes what they have printed underneath. I really like this concept and want to explore whether I can bring this forward into my own work. Could I make a print using my my favourite design then explore different textures/ colours on the background without having to redraw the design which may cause it to change
