Tie dye

One of the techniques we studied in class was tie dye.

I mainly tried to use shapes which i could see in Gunta Stozls weave. such as lines, circles and squares.

I also experimented with different types of fabric other than plain white cotton to see the change in results.

Here is what my fabric looked like before being dyed.

This is what my tie dye looks like when the dye was added.

After i untied the elastic bands this is what my fabric looked like.
