stuck lapped zip.

during Lareens recent lesson we were making our pencil skirt samples. when I attached my lapped zip with placket I ran into a problem, i sewed the placket to the incorrect side. this meant when I undid the zip it would not let the two sides of the zip come apart and expand in size.

I then unpicked the part that got attached and pinned the placket to the other size.

this image shows the zip once I unpicked it and began to resew the zip and placket on correctly without it catching.

This is the finished result of my zip. overall I am happy with how it turned out as the zip is fully concealed and the placket is not caught at the back.
