Start of white on white - definitions

My next project is called ‘white on white’ this is where I will explore the colour of white and the meaning behind it and how it can create a different response depending on the way it is being used. In this project I will be manipulating fabric in order to explore all of these different possible emotions which can be created

The final outcome for this project is going to be a dress. This dress will be modelled but the end of year college fashion show and possibly the hair and beauty show.

The main theme for this project is Origami, folds and fabric manipulation.

From this page I have found how there are many different meanings to ‘white’, such as the physical colour which contrasts from black. However, a light/pale colour can appear white next to a darker colour; I would like to explore this concept further .
