Soffolk puffs

for our fashion show approaching in our strech lessons we are making lots of soffolk puffs, some for the VIP goodie bags and others to be sold.
to start we cut round CDs for the small circles. to allow us to create a many as possible we folded the cotton so that multiple could be cut as the same time. For the bigger suffolk puffs there is a template of a CD which has been enlarged.

I then got a piece of thread and doubled up the thread. i then stiched a running stich 0.7cm from the edge.

i then tied end of the thread as tight as possible.
i then did this with lots of larger circles as well. i then picked colours which worked together mainly trying to match a patterned circle with a plain one.

I then secured the 2 circles together then added the circlce and added the button. at the back i then added the broch using a blanket stich.
