shibori

Another technique I looked at was shibori.

Here are my results.

I focused on making shapes such as triangles, squares, semicircles and circles as well as lines as they reflect my artists weave.

With this technique I like how shapes can be created through stitching the fabric.

Next time I would use smaller stitching to make the shapes more defined and bolder.
