Screen printing

Here are my favourite screen prints from today.

This is my favourite piece I created from water soluble oil pastels.

This is done using water soluble dyes.

I really like this print as the design transfused in a interesting way, making the black outline very prominent whist the centre's stayed clear.

I then looked at how I could scan this onto a digital design and whether this formed a different outcome.

I liked this however i like my original design better as the different tones create a interesting effect. Going forward i could look at how i can try to include these colours in my work.

Here i used the dyes again to recreate my image of a brain tumer cell. Again i really like this as not all the pigment has been transfured, subsequently creating a interesting and abstract outcome.

To develop this i photocopied the design and then printed another design ontop. this is the outcome.

I really like this outcome as it looks layered which reflects my artists work well.
