Mural day 2

Today we started by painting the borders of the squares which we marked yesterday. The order of the colours were red, yellow, green, blue. This pattern was repeated the whole way down the wall.

We then waited for this to dry before starting the next stage.

Now it is time to start our design. To begin with I made a light blue colour which I painted the whole of my white block with. I did this colour first as it is the main colour and meant I would be able to paint all my details on top. If I didn’t do this and did all my insects and details first it would be hard to make the join between the colours exact as there would still be some white paint showing which Would make the design look unprofessional and messy.

By the end of day 2 I had completely filled this block in with the light blue colour.
