Making my pattern

In order to make my trouser suit I needed to make my pattern. I used a normal trouser block and a large shirt block. I then cut these out and put them on a dress model so I could split up the panels whilst seeing how they look on the body.

As you can see here i have coloured the divided sections into 2 ; yellow and orange. i have done this as these show which panels will be what fabric.

With these patterns i focused on taking away the side seams and changing them into just the rounded pattern pieces.
