After finishing my final design it was then time to make the hat.
To start this we measured one of our friend heads. The first measurement was the circumference of her head. we then got a sheet of corrugated cardboard and made the width of this line 8cm. The next measurement was from one ear, over the top to the other, and the final piece was from the front of the head to the back. I then used a 8cm width again and cut all these pieces out using a craft knife.
We then heated up a glue gun and made the cardboard a circle (the cardboard piecw which was the circumferenc of the head). We then also secured the other pieces of the cardboard to the corresponding part so that they cross perpendicularly in the centre.
After that I added a diagonal piece of cardboard which I secured using a small vertical quart of cardboard. we then covers this in dots of hot glue and added the toy stuffing ontop.

We then continued this process untill the hole of the hat was covered.

A issue we had whilst creating this hat was that it was very heavy in one side. to fix this we added pulls coming down from eith side of the hat which allowed the hat to be balanced By the model.
then we added elements which hung down from the ‘cloud‘ which recreates rain.
