Making my architecture dress page - fashion illustration

I wanted to explore a interesting technique which i could compete my fashion illustration with. i decided to complete this one i would use a clear wax stick.

i got a piece of cartage paper and drew the outline of my fashion illustration. i found this difficult as i was unable to see where i had already drawn as the media had no pigment in.

i then used plack watercolour and went over the top.

Here is what my illustration looked like-

I really didn't like this outcome as it was boring and the wax did not relate a great resist against the pigment in the black watercolour.

I then scanned this onto my computer and inverted the colours using Adobe photoshop.

I am really happy with the outcome of this illustration as even tough some of the white lines were very faint they have come out very bright on this image. the perpendicular brush strokes have also worked well as they are bold and represent the different colours (black and white) well.
