Jati Putra Pratamaq

Jati Putra Pratama is a graphic designer from Indonesia. Pratama is most well known for bending landscapes and warping them to create a more surreal and fictional effect. These new images seem so real as they are moulded from images Pratama has taken himself, however also so far from reality due to the distraction of gravity.

Pratama first became recognised when he posted a physics defying scene on a social media platform called Reddit which went viral, shortly followed by a tutorial so allow his followers are able to create their own surreal images.

On a interview Pratama said how some of his inspiration for these pieces are by the film inception by Christopher Nolan and how reality can be flipped and changed.

Pratama goes to exhibitions around the world, however he plainly posts him images on his Instagram. These images below have all been taken from his Instagram @jatiputra from between 11 may 2021 and 11th February 2022.

I picked these images as I really like how Pratama has used parts of images which are known to be straight lines and morphed them into wavy lines. This is eye catching to the audience as people have to look at the image more closely to understand what it contains.
