Draping a collar.

Previously i have only draped full bodices and half garments, therefore this time i only looked at draping a particular garment, the collar.

to start i slit the collar up to expand the fabric. i then added this fabric glue to the fabric

This glued fabric then stuck onto the expanded section of collar.

As you can see below I then marked out my design using tape. This shape reflects a pistle shape from my research.

I then took this off the mannequin and transferred it onto pattern paper.
