Darkness bodice vs fitted bodice

One of my initial designs was this bodysuit below.

( Through group analysis this design was discarded as it is too simple and does not reflect my artists work well enough )

As you can see of this design there is no seams for darts. I did not want to put a seam for darts either. As a result I explored if a divide with the darts taken out can still fit the same as a normal bodice block.

In this picture the left is the normal bodice block and the right is the dartless bodice block.

As you can see the right bodice is much more unfitted than the left side. I like how there is no darts however the fit is not how i wanted it to be - the armhole is too baggy and there is a large amount of excess fabric at the front leading to a garment which is not well fitted , subsequently not reflecting my design well enough.
